Ely Centre Service Interim Update
Counselling If Public Health Advice ( PHA) means that face to face talking therapy sessions are not possible or recommended to ensure impact on you is minimised and this essential service can continue, we have made arrangements with our counsellors for talking therapies to be provided remotely ( Zoom/Telephone/ Skype/ Facetime) if this is required by the client. We have requested that all counsellors contact their clients over the coming days to discuss this new process.
Welfare Advice, similarly for those clients of our welfare advice, arrangements are being made for all welfare sessions to be provided remotely (telephone, skype etc)
Health and Well Being Support For clients engaging with our Health and Well Being Case Officers, all assessments/ follow up interviews will be provided remotely (telephone/ skype etc)
Complementary Therapy: We have spoken with our sessional therapist team who have informed us that until they are recommended to stop all sessions from their Regulatory Body and Insurance provider, therapy appointments will continue. As an organisation we do believe that in the coming days, due to the nature of this service, complementary therapies may be postponed. We recommend all members with appointments within the next few days and weeks to check with their individual’s therapist as their position may change in light of changing guidance.
Befriending Service: No further home/ hospital visitation at present befrienders will be continuing with telephone contact were possible.
