The Ely Centre receives COVID Support Funding from the Rotary Club of Enniskillen.

The Ely Centre is delighted to announce that our recent application for the expansion of community counselling services in Co Fermanagh from the Rotary Club of Enniskillen COVID 19 Action Group has been successful.

This fund formed by the Rotary Club of Enniskillen and the Freemasons of Tyrone and Fermanagh was established to respond to needs in County Fermanagh associated with the CoVid-19 Crisis

The COVID Support fund will provide direct support through community counselling sessions (Online/Telephone/ Face to face) for local people requiring mental health support during the COVID 19 Pandemic. Following Assessment, each client can expect to receive between 6-8 sessions of therapy.

Mr Lee McDowell ( Director) sated ” We are honoured to have received this support from the Rotary Club of Enniskillen. From April 2020 we have experienced a large increase in local people and Voluntary and Statutory organisations referring to the Ely Centre for mental health advice, support and therapy. As we enter this new period of uncertainty, contributing to heightened levels of anxiety within our community, funding to support the continuation and scope of our mental health services is vital for the wellbeing of the local communities. On behalf of the board of Directors and staff I express our sincerest appreciation to the Rotary Club for endorsing support within this area of increasing need

If you require support or know someone who could benefit from counselling support during these uncertain times then please refer to the Ely Centre via

On receipt of referral a member of the Health and Well Being Team will be in contact.
