Ely Centre attend opening of Tandragee Veterans Support Centre.
On Saturday 11th June, members of the Armagh and Fermanagh staffing team of the Ely Centre were delighted to accept the invitation to attend the opening of Tandragee Veterans Support Centre.
Over the past number of months, the Ely Centre have been working closely supporting members of the TVSC throughout the Covid pandemic and we look forward to developing closer links in the future.
Speaking after the event Mr David Taylor, Ely Centre Welfare Officer Armagh stated " We were honored to be able to attend this mornings event and represent the Ely Centre at the opening of this much needed local source of support for Veterans in Tandragee and wider afield.
We wish TVSC well for their future plans and look forward to supporting them in whatever way we can. We were delighted to have the opportunity to hear the Frontier Pipe and Drums Band and also catch up with Mr Danny Kinahan Veterans Commissioner who was in attendance.
Well done to all involved in the organisation of this event.
